Lauren is a mixed media artist focused on piecing together fragmented memories to gain better clarity on her identity as a biracial woman. Her work aims to weave together the good and bad experiences she has faced to highlight what has been overcome and celebrate staying hopeful despite the circumstances.

Lauren received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas in Tyler, where she also worked as a ceramics studio assistant, and she has exhibited both locally and nationally.
