50 Years Stronger

My mother has just turned 50, an age she never thought she would reach. She has two adult children and has been in a healthy marriage since she was 21. She just received her bachelor’s degree at age 48, despite her parents having no form of higher education or even completing high school, and now she is pursuing her Master’s degree at 50.

50 for her means life, health, love, joy, and success. It does not mean wrinkles, graying hair, exhaustion, or fatigue, it means that she has made it this far and is grateful for every second
of it.
